The nail to be hammered down? Hell No.

Japan. A country for anime, sushi, beauty boys (:P) and dolphin slaughter.
Yep, dolphin slaughter.

Have you watched "the Cove" ?
A documentary movie about dolphin slaughter in Taiji, Japan. In this place thousands of dolphin are being killed for the meat. This place has been the largest dolphin meat importer for the world. However, noone has ever documented what actually happened there. Even the local Taiji citizen, they just know that place for taking dolphin to later be trained for aquarium show. What they dont know is, the other dolphins, which is not picked for the show, is brutally killed and slaughtered in the back of the cove.

Interested? Check it out on http://www.thecovemovie.com/
It's worth watching! Trust me! :)

Anyway, there is an interesting fact I learned after watching this movie. The reason why most of Japanese people didnt know about this slaughtering is because noone actually allowed to do that. No permission, no authorities, and if you do try to sneak and shoot it, they will sue you for violating their property. This slaughtering place is not transparent, obviously. If you do ask about it, they will give you no answer. They want you to shut up and leave it as it is.

That is when this movie told me about Japanese "point out nails" ideology. In Japan, there is a common thought that "a nail that pointed out from the woods have to be knocked down". It's like, if something is not in order or being "special", just knock it down and make it the same as before.

What is the relation? I concluded here that, it is hard to be different in this society. This country thinks that if you're pointed out from the woods, if you're different than any other nail, you have to be hammered down. You cant be different. You have to do whatever people do, and do it according to the settled rules.

Bullshit? No. I can guarantee it's no bullshit at all. I am experiencing it, at this very moment. That I will be hammered down eventually.

But no. Hell no I will let them hammer me down. I wont be uniformed. This society wont rule me just because I'm a bit different. I have my own way, and if they dont like me. They have to bear with it, because my agenda is cleared : Absorb whatever I can, and bring it back to my homeland. (it rhymes! wow)

haha. Now, just have to bear with these people's "honne dehanai no attitude". Just have to be patient.
